THE HISTORY OF CLASSIFIED

Classified Cycling, founded in 2019 by CEO Mathias Plouvier, is based in the the former Philips lamp factory in Turnhout, at the outskirts of Antwerp.

The team of dedicated engineers design and test all the components for the Powershift(c) in house.

Former Belgium pro Tom Boonen was one of the first to see the great potential of the Classified hub and was one of it’s initial investors.

Currently the team is growing fast, originally working closely with Ridley and their fantastic Kanzo Fast GRX Di2 x1 gravel bike to launch the Powershift(c) the wheels are now available in gravel and road forms and will work on a variety of bikes.

CHANGING THE GAME

Classified Cycling are the new kids on the block, with a plan to revolutionise the cycling industry. They have a created the singularly most revolutionary piece of kit since the invention of more than 3 gears. 

Its a 2 speed hub that replaces the front derailleur. Using Classified’s POWERSHIFT technology which is integrated in the rear hub, allowing you to change gears in a split second, under full load and on any terrain.
