THE LEGENDARY EDDY MERCKX
Eddy Merckx is arguably the most famous and certainly the most successful cyclist in the history of competitive cycling. Born in Belgium in 1945, legend has it that Eddy Merckx could ride a bike before he could walk!
Whilst not strictly true, he was riding at 3, winning his first of 80 odd races as an amateur from 16 through to 19 and turning pro in April 1965 and after the ’67 season on moving to Faema he won his first grand tour – The Giro.
From 1970 to 1973 he won 3 Grand Tour Doubles and in 1974 managed the Triple by adding the UCI men’s elite road race crown as well. He also broke the 1 hour record in 1972 on the orange bike featured in the bottom corner
Overall Eddy Merckx managed 525 professional wins – as record as yet to be beaten.
Beautiful bikes for you to enjoy or enjoy winning on and with our DREAM BUILDER program or Retrosonic limited edition, you can have your Eddy Merckx just as you want it (see configurator button at the bottom).

This frame was ridden by AG2R a couple of years back in the grand tours and we thought it was an amazing frame then at the original £4629 price tag.
The 2024 edition is still made from the same amazing carbon setup, only now comes in at £3199, which given it’s geometry makes this, in our opinion one of the best riding Aero road bikes around.

Eddy Merckx Pévèle Carbon and Corsa Steel
Why choose? You can combine the best of both worlds?
The Pévèle is an ode to Eddy’s 3 victories in Paris-Roubaix. Using the legendary 3 km cobbled section in Mons-en-Pévèle as a test reference, the Pévèle is the all-time all-road machine.
The Pévèle is super light, shock absorbing and combines this with excellent torsional rigidity. It’s designed to explore and go the distance: from long endurance rides to fast gravel routes, this bike can handle it all.
EDDY MERCKX - STRASBOURG CARBON
The Eddy Merckx Strasbourg pays homage to an unforgettable stage win in the Tour de France of 1971 in which Eddy Merckx confirmed his skills on any surface – during a dirt track sprint against Roger De Vlaeminck.
Eddy Merckx Mendrisio Carbon
The Mendrisio is an all-round endurance road bike. Named after the place where Eddy Merckx won his second world title in 1971, it’s a very capable all-round road bike. Mendrisio was the battle ground between Merckx and his eternal rival Felice Gimondi. Gimondi attacked time and again, but could not shake off his younger rival. The race ended in a sprint, which Merckx won thanks to his explosiveness
That explosiveness is in the Mendrisio. It is a fast, performance-oriented and comfortable endurance bike made for your long rides.
